Duties & Responsibilities:
•        Identifying high risk areas.
•        Evaluates suspicious and/or questionable account activity.
•        Conducts investigations to determine whether to file a suspicious activity report within reasonable timeframes, in accordance with FIU policy and procedures.
•        Identifying general fraud and money laundering schemes.
•        Assist with implementation of compliance strategies.
•        Provide assistance on the AML program working on current projects and change initiatives.
•        Providing AML input for the compliance monitoring program and the self assessment framework, report and monitor on identified issues and breaches of AML policy.
•        Provide monthly progress reports against planned activity and assist in providing reports to Senior Management and the Audit Committee
•        Assurance and oversight for the AML program with specific focus on the development of transaction monitoring supporting the “know your customer "requirements" .
•        Effectively communicates with branch staff to obtain information needed for supporting documentation and reports.


Qualifications:
•        Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics or law.
•        2-3 years banking experience preferred background in control areas, (in audit or compliance would be particularly useful) at a financial institution.
•        Good English language & computer skills.
•        Integrity & Enthusiasm.
